Welcome. I'm a creative guy that loves to learn new things. I'm currently a PhD candidate studying Immunology at Vanderbilt University.
During my time here in Nashville, TN, I worked with a group of guys to create the non-profit organization, Olive Tree Education.
I've recently begun learning how to take photographs with the purchase of my Nikon D70. I have some photos on Zooomr, but now I'm mainly using Flickr. You can view them small or large. I also use a Flip Mino to capture videos. I post them to Vimeo.
Writing is something that I enjoy. Over at Nature Network, I post advice for struggling graduate students in science. At JustGarciaHill, I write about being a minority in graduate school. I also keep an online scrapbook of my life and other interesting things at Tumblr.
Initially, I created this webpage as a landing pad for links to stuff I do online. Now, it still serves that function, but it has become a testing ground for my interest in web design and coding.
